About Me

Adalgiza Sandoval., LCSW-R  is a therapist specializing in individual, couples and family therapy, and maintains a private practice in Queens Village, New York.  She has been active in New York City social work for the past 25 years.  She has an unusual breadth of experience and is specially skilled in the care of persons with severe mental illness.  Ms. Sandoval is a seasoned case manager, clinician and psychotherapist who has direct familiarity with many settings and agencies in which psychiatric patients are treated. She has worked extensively in residential facilities as a counselor and served as clinical director of a Community Residence Program in New York.  Subsequently, she served as the first director of a Mobile Outreach/Self Help Program in Queens, New York. 
Ms. Sandoval was born in Colombia, S.A.  She received her undergraduate degree (BA, Psychology) from York College, City University of New York and her social work degrees from Hunter College, City University of New York.  She completed her post master advanced clinical social work degree at Hunter College, City University of New York as well.
